The First Start.... Again....

So, I have realized that I am not a very dedicated blogger. I guess that springs from the fact that I really have no idea what I am blogging for. But, after re-reading my journal from one of my trips, I have been called to write, once again.

Basically, the reason I write is the same as the reason I travel, to expand my own understanding of the world and subsequently let others in on my secret. Am I the expert on all of this? Not really, but it sure seems like I might be better than most. I believe I travel for the right reasons. "Learning about yourself and the world" is the most used cliche of the bunch for explaining what someone can gain from traveling.

I believe its so much more. The depth of understanding that CAN be acheived is limitless. Through much trial and tribulation, I have realized that trying to force people to understand this or to experience this is a no-win situation. Some people really just don't, and don't want, to get it.
